  • Sounds like you need a hammer and a crusher? Wonder if you could keep both busy and a crew running them. Do your work first and custom work to pay for the equipment and crew? Depending on other vendors sucks!

Didn't we tell you? Somebody with greater needs offered more for it." "That's great. When tf can you deliver?" "Weeeel, maybe tomorrow, possibly the next day....." "The fk?" "Probably the end of the week, more likely." "C#nts." Click.

  • Im a concrete guy. The last commercial job we were on they changed the rebar detail without notifying us. Dont know why we were not notified since we were the ones putting in the rebar. Anyhow, long story short. Everything we had poured before the changes were made had to be tore out and redone so that the rebar was the correct size and correct spacing. So, who pays for that? Simple. In commercial work, you do. You eat some other assholes mistake. Plus you wind up paying for the concrete on your own accout, and wait for most of the time over 90 days to get paid. And that is only if all your ducks are in a row. It often takes longer than that. As far as im concerned. Commercial work is way overrated!!!

    Aaron GrabowskiAaron Grabowskiپیش ماه
  • You nailed it Chris. Commercial work is always messed up because you have to rely on too many different people to get shit done. If you were in charge, you know damn well you would have got it done. At least u can make a little bit more on the commercial work. Question is, is it worth the constant headaches?

  • A slope is a good choice. Retaining walls that aren't built properly often end up getting pushed over. Even those that are well built will get pushed over under the right conditions. Slopes are a much better choice when you have the space.
